Terrafugia's flying car can be said to be a double-seat aircraft with folding wings and four wheels. It can't be called a complete flying car because its main function is to fly, and it needs a certain length of runway to complete the takeoff and landing.
However, Terrafugia has begun to improve its design and proposed the second flying car project code-named TF-X. According to reports, the TF-X is more like a car, still using a folding wing design, can take off and land vertically like an Osprey transporter, and then turn to horizontal flight.
